Activities 2021-22

Ashadhi Ekadashi

People perform collective singing, dancing, chanting (Dnyanba-Tukaram in what are called as Dindis or organised group of warkaris) to the holy town of Pandharpur.

This year Ashadhi Ekadashi was celebrated online Children dressed themselves as warkaris and were also asked to draw the picture of palkhi and send the photocopy to their respective class tr.

The participation of all children in this palkhi event gave a message of social awareness and a feeling of oneness.

Nag Panchami

Nag Panchami is a famous festival of Hindus, during which they worship live Nagas or images of them. IT is a festival that brings siblings together to celebrate their familys well being Teachers gave information about the festival of Nag Panchami Children made idols asked to send the photocophy of the same. Girls were told to apply mehendi on their hands.

 

 

 

Raksha Bandhan

Raksha means safety and bandhan means bond. It is afestival dedicated to brothers and sisters. On this auspicious, day sisters tie a thread on their brothers wrist and pray for their long and prosperous life. In return, the brother gives a token of love to his loving sister.Tr gave information about Raksha Bandhan Students were asked to make rakhi and send the photocophy to their respective teacher.

 

 

 

Gokulashtami

The main significance of Janmashtami is to encourage goodwill and to discourage. Bad will . Krishna Jayanti also celebrates togetherness. The holy occasion brings people together, thus it signifies unity and faith. Trs gave information about Janmashtami. Trs. Drew a Picture of Dahi handi and students too drew the picture of dahi-handi.

 

 

 

Dussehra

Dussehra signifies getting rid of sins or bad qualities, It is also known as Navratri Celebration, is celebrated to spread happiness, joy and triumph.

Trs. sang songs of Bhondla and also played the games. Children were asked to be ready for the Bhondla celebration neatly dressed with their Dandia sticks for the Garba dance. Parents too joined their kids enthusiastically.
